Watch the PAX Aus keynote: Holly Longdale and a WoW: Forever dungeon deep dive

· by Davina Asaria

WoW: Forever was at PAX Aus 2026 in Melbourne, from 9 to 11 October. World of Warcraft executive producer Holly Longdale opened the show as the Storytime keynote speaker, and associate production director Clay Stone joined her with an exclusive deep dive into one of the new WoW: Forever dungeons.

Watch the keynote

The keynote was live on Twitch during the night (03:00 to 04:30 CEST). Missed it? Here is the full recording:

What it is about

  • Holly Longdale shares stories and lessons from twenty years in the games industry, talks about where the Warcraft universe is heading, and about how important online player communities are for MMOs. Guilds like ours, in other words!
  • Clay Stone takes you behind the scenes of one of the new dungeons in WoW: Forever: the design philosophy, the creative process and how the team builds new gameplay.

At PAX itself

  • After the keynote Holly and Clay held a meet and greet and signing session.
  • The WoW: Forever booth let visitors play the beta all weekend, with a themed photo spot and a "Raid for Riches" quest card. Finishing the quests earned a WoW: Forever Pinny Arcade pin and a chance at prizes.
