Two-part names in WoW: Forever, and name reservation on October 27

In World of Warcraft: Forever, every character has two names, like a first name and a last name. That is also why our website asks for both parts.

How it works

The full combination has to be unique in your region (Europe), not per realm, because Forever has no realms.
Someone else can have the same first name as you, as long as the second name is different.
A shared second name works nicely for a family or a themed group of characters.
Names still follow the naming rules, and both parts are checked together, so splitting a forbidden word over two names will not work.

Prefer to keep it short in the world? You can hide your second name: Game Menu, Options, Nameplates, then untick My Secondary Name. It still shows in chat.

Early Name Reservation: October 27 to November 3

If you bought an eligible upgrade, you can reserve your names early, from October 27 to November 3, 2026. It is first come, first served, so be quick if you have a name you really want. Early Name Reservation is also in our calendar.

Tip for the guild: sign up on our site with your in-game name, so officers and the Discord bot know exactly who you are.
