Tier sets are back in WoW: Forever, and you earn them with a quest

Blizzard's new launch overview video ends with a look at raids, and one detail stands out for a raiding guild like ours: how you get your tier set.

Tier sets with set bonuses

Raids in WoW: Forever drop tier pieces again: class sets that give bonuses when you wear several pieces of the same set. Blizzard calls a tier piece one of the best items you can get for your class.

A token starts an adventure

A raid boss does not hand you the piece itself. You get a Tier Token, and that token starts a quest that ends with your tier piece. You do have to find out yourself where that quest begins. And just like dungeons and raids, you can't finish it alone: some steps need a group.

Blizzard hasn't said yet how long the chain is or what exactly you have to do. We will tell you more as soon as we know. The raid part starts near the end of the video:

What this means for Legends of Azeroth

Good news for a guild that likes to play together: a token alone is not enough, you finish your set together with your guildmates.
