Forever Open finals tonight: these 36 duelists made it

· by Davina Asaria

Yesterday thousands of players dueled their way through the qualifiers of the Forever Open. The result: 36 duelists, the four best of every class, go to the finals tonight. Here is where we stand.

When and where

How the finals work

  • One big double elimination bracket: lose once and you drop to the lower bracket, lose twice and you are out.
  • Upper bracket matches are best of three, lower bracket matches one duel only, apart from the lower bracket final (best of three).
  • The championship match is best of five, without a bracket reset.
  • The winner takes $50,000. The best placed player of every class also wins $5,555.
