Beta ends October 21, and a shovel that digs up Grave Moss
First something important for everyone who is still testing: the WoW: Forever beta ends on October 21. After that it is waiting for launch on November 4.
The Graverobber's Shovel
WoW: Forever adds more and more weapons with a special effect. Early on the beta players found the Rockslicer, a weapon with 30 charges to mine Copper, Tin, Silver and Iron veins. Now there is a new one: the Graverobber's Shovel.
- The shovel has 20 charges and lets you dig up graves.
- It works at Raven Hill Cemetery in Duskwood and at the graveyard of Scarlet Monastery.
- One player used all 20 charges at Raven Hill and got 9 Grave Moss.
- Digging also wakes up level 30 Disturbed Ghouls. They drop nothing, but they do give experience.
Why Grave Moss?
Grave Moss is an Alchemy material. In Classic it went into Shadow Oil and the Shadow Protection Potion. Most players used the stronger Greater Shadow Protection Potion, but the normal one still helped against fights like the Four Horsemen in Naxxramas. Who knows which bosses in WoW: Forever will ask for shadow protection.
What this means for Legends of Azeroth
Alchemists and herbalists: keep an eye out for the shovel. And if you still want to try something on the beta, you have until October 21!
